For the Benefit of the Church
The following revelation was given to the prophet David in Long Beach, California on December 5, 2018. In this revelation, the prophet David is told the Lord’s will for the Fellowship in regard to the Sections of the Doctrine and Covenants given to Community of Christ from the Lord.
Yod Lamed Yod
“But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength, haste thee to help me.” -Psalms 22:19
The second Name of God may be used as a teshuvah meditation. It is used to recapture the spark of divine energy within us. This spark lights the fire of the Holy Spirit. Yod Lamed Yod is a mantra for meditation that can restore us with Christ’s Grace from both sin and the wear and tare of everyday life. It reminds us of who we truly are, and who’s we are, kindling the our divine fire. We are the Children of God, we were created in God’s image, spiritually and physically. Using this mantra reminds us of our divinity.
Growing in Grace
“Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” -2 Peter 3:18a
You’ve learned that there is a God. You’ve come to God with a broken heart and a contrite spirit. You’ve moved through the steps of teshuvah, repented and have been restored. You’re looking for a denomination to be baptized into, or have been baptized, and you’re looking to have the physical manifestation (laying on of hands) to receive the Holy Ghost (baptism by fire). What’s next?
Wearing the Robes of the Priesthood
“And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water. And he put upon him the coat and girded him with the girdle and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.” -Leviticus 8:6-7 KJV
When performing ordinances that require the use of the priesthood, the Lord has asked that ordained men and women of the Fellowship wear the Robes of the Priesthood. They are known within the Fellowship as Tzniut, Hebrew for privacy, sometimes translated as “modesty” in the scriptures. Tzniut are not mandatory as this is a nondenominational movement. The revelation asking us to do was sustained by the body of the Fellowship April 6, 2019. For those that accept the revelations, the Lord has explained that the Robes of the Priesthood signify the authority held by those using their priesthood keys; that they have been endowed. Those that have been through a Latter Day Saint/Mormon temple’s endowment session, regardless of denomination, will likely recognize variations of the attire.
Fire: Athame
“Behold I am God, give heed unto my Word, which is quick and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword, to the dividing asunder of both joints and marrow; therefore, give heed unto my Word.” -Avahr 24:20-21
Water: Communion Cup/Chalice
“This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.” -1 Corinthians 11:25 KJV
Air: Rod of Aaron
“The rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.” -Numbers 17:8b KJV

The following teachings are attributed to Joseph Smith Jr. were shortened and altered before they were included in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ edition of the Doctrine and Covenants. After praying on this section, it was decided that the actual journal entries William Clayton that this section was taken from would be used.

The following vision was received by Joseph Smith Jr. July 12, 1843 in Nauvoo, Illinois. From the diary of Joseph Smith Jr.: “Wednesday, July 12. Received a Revelation in the office in presence of Hyrum Smith, and William Clayton.”

The following vision was received by Joseph Smith Jr. January 21, 1836 in Kirtland, Ohio, recorded in his September 1835–April 1836 journal on pages 135-139 in the handwriting of Warren Parrish. It was shortened and altered before being included in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Doctrine and Covenants.
Priesthood vs Priestcraft
The following revelation was given to David in Ohio on January 10, 2016. The differences between the priesthood and priestcraft are clearly defined by the Lord. In addition, the Lord gives further instructions on the garments. This revelation was voted and accepted as scripture by the Council of Elders of the Fellowship January 5, 2019. We ask members of the Fellowship to read this revelation prayerfully to determine if it should be added to the Fellowship canon in preparation of the vote April 6, 2019.
Revelation on the Priesthood and the Sacraments
The following is a revelation on ordaining disciples to the ministry, and further instructions on the Sacrament of holy Communion, received in Ohio by David on the morning of November 25, 2015. This revelation was voted and accepted as scripture by the Council of Elders of the Fellowship January 5, 2019.
