In the Fellowship of Christ, we envision the ideal relationship between men, women and all genders as one of equity, equality, and partnership.
On this Easter Sunday, we worship together in celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. After the atonement, Jesus was crucified, his spirit left his body, and his body was laid to rest in a sepulcher or tomb. On the first day of the week, Sunday, Jesus’ spirit and body were reunited and He rose.
The Sisterhood of Christ is doing more than give women a voice in the Lord’s Fellowship; it is extending the keys of the priesthood of God to any woman who feels called of God to do His works.
In the Latter Day Saint movement, a prophet or prophetess is generally seen as one in contact with God, called to speak on the Lord's behalf, serving as an intermediary with humanity.
The traditions found within the Catholic and Orthodox Churches are ones that stretch back close to two thousand years. During this time the respective Churches became a reflection of the culture in which they found themselves.
This High Priesthood, both the male and the female, are led by Jesus Christ, the One High Priest over all the earth.
As early as November of 2019 Kristine, the Elect Lady and co-president of the Church of Jesus Christ in Christian Fellowship, received a revelation to the Fellowship and the Sisterhood of Christ. She did not, however feel the time was right to write this revelation down. On May 19, 2020 being in the Spirit of the Lord, she felt the time had come and recorded the following:
This book is a quick reference guide to Priesthood ordinances for the Church of Jesus Christ in Christian Fellowship. This should not be seen as Law, or anything set in stone. It is a guide for those that are new or need reminding on various ordinances. It is also to help perspective brothers and sisters wishing to enter the ministry.
There are different paths one may be called on within the kingdom of God. Each has its own duties and responsibility. We cannot choose these for ourselves but are called to them.
When performing ordinances that require the use of the priesthood, the Lord has asked that ordained men and women of the Fellowship wear the Robes of the Priesthood.
