When Joseph Smith Jr. walked into the grove to pray, after reading James 1:5, he had a miraculous experience. We are told that he was asked not to join any of the denominations he had explored. Why not?
We all have different ideas of worship. A simple prayer or a communion service with a scripture reading might be enough. Others may desire a sermon, or testimonies. Others find all of this tedious and would rather have intellectual stimulation that drives greater spiritual awareness.
On this Easter Sunday, we worship together in celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. After the atonement, Jesus was crucified, his spirit left his body, and his body was laid to rest in a sepulcher or tomb. On the first day of the week, Sunday, Jesus’ spirit and body were reunited and He rose.
A question many ask is: “What is the Church Age? What is the Kingdom Age? What is the difference?”
We, as Latter Day Saints, claim to be living in the last days. When we look at the life of Joseph Smith Jr., his visions and revelations, it does appear to be the case. But looking at the sects that came from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that broke apart in 1844, when the men that God had called as leaders all refused to work as one. Where did these spiritual gifts go?
I have felt a gladness of Heart by what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me in greater understanding of what the scriptures are bringing to us
God wants us to hear Him, to watch/worship Him, to remember the mitzvah (the instructions He has given us), receive ordinances, and study and live the Torah. And we do all these by grace. Yet there are still those that think there is a difference between grace and works.
When one enters the ministry they are ordained to the priesthood. We are then, being clean, given the Garments of the Priesthood. In the Book of Remembrance, the Lord God sends Raphael to teach us the deeper symbolism of the Garments

The home congregation should remember that the point of the worship is Jesus Christ and the Sacraments. Those speaking should preach of Christ.
