Wrestling with the Words

Wrestling with the Words

A revelation given to David on August 19, 2026, on the study and translation of Scripture.

  1. After a discussion on translating Scripture into various languages on August 18, 2026, I began to think about the process I have been given to translate the Plates of Brass.
  2. While it is a type of vision where I am taken in spirit to a cave, the plates are metal, the text unchanging; and while the Hebrew words appear to be a more modern understanding of the text compared to the Biblical authors, it also rests in the flames unchanged.
  3. Yet the English is more pliable; I am given options to feel out, not a word-for-word transcription, and even after I type out the translation, I am able to make changes to the text—there is no “perfect” translation.
  4. While I have been permitted to write down symbols from the Egyptian and various words from the Hebrew, I am not permitted to just copy out each layer for the world to examine and translate.
  5. Taking this question to the Lord, I asked why I am given exact Egyptian and Hebrew, but not exact English? Why not allow me to transcribe the text so there is a perfect translation?
  6. After sleeping on this question, I awoke the following day given a revelation; in answer, the Lord said: My servant and my friend, this question is good, for the world should know of these things to increase their understanding.
  7. In times past, I spoke unto my servants, the prophets and the prophetesses, giving them my words; and at times they were shared openly, and at times they were written down.
  8. Many things have I said that have been lost to time, but these words are not lost to me; and even in those writings which were preserved were things lost, plain and precious things.
  9. And what does it mean that things were lost? Is this to say the texts were destroyed? or the words were altered? Or is it that the meaning was taken from them?
  10. When my words were passed down from mouth to ear, my words were altered to meet the needs of the people, this is not to say that my words did change, but the understanding of the people did change, the meaning of words did change; therefore, the words did change that their understanding should be met.
  11. And when my words were written down, still the language changed, and the meaning thereof was lost unto my people, if they did not abide in my Spirit.
  12. Any well did my servant and my friend Jeremiah say: How can you say: We are wise, for the Torah of YHVH is with us, when in fact the lying pen of the scribes
has turned it into falsehood? (Jeremiah 8:8)
  13. And what did my servant mean by this? That my people did fill themselves with pride, adding to the Torah, and changing the meaning to suit their desires; and errors were made, texts added, parts misplaced as corruption found its way in through human error, be it deliberate or by chance.
  14. And does this mean that my words are corrupt? No.
  15. In every generation, my words are to be translated, not always from Hebrew to Greek or from Greek to English, but this is a translation of the heart.
  16. It is my will that my people wrestle with my words to find meaning in them from me, through my Spirit, even the Holy Spirit, for the Holy Spirit is shed forth upon all who believe on my name and follow my Word,
  17. And even as I, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, do partake of the fulness of the Father through this same Spirit, so too might my Saints, by the same Spirit, be partakers of the same fulness being one in me, and therefore, one in the Father and Mother.
  18. And this is the very nature of God or the Godhead: the Father and Mother, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost are one, possessing the same mind or will by the Holy Spirit, possessing all knowledge and all glory.
  19. And if thou would seek to be transformed into the same image, into the same likeness, you will wrestle with my words to find meaning in them from me, seeking not to fill yourself with pride, adding to my Torah, changing the meaning to suit your vain desires.
  20. For the meaning of my Words changeth not, and I still know and understand; therefore, seek out wisdom in me that you too might understand them, and you shall be filled.
  21. Worry not for the perfect word, for there are no words in the human tongue that might be written to avoid the corruption of the human heart; or, in other words, mankind will always find a way to see their will, should it be their desire to seek out their will in my words.
  22. But all they who know my name, they who seek my face, even all they who do desire to be one in me, these shall hear my words no matter how corrupt the world has made them; and you shall know they do hear my words for they shall strive to heed them.
  23. Know then that the Holy Spirit doth manifest the truth of all things, and they who are enlightened by the Holy Spirit shall obtain wisdom and knowledge from my words that they might live them and gain understanding,
  24. And all those who receiveth not of my Spirit shall gain nothing by them, and shall be tossed to and fro by the adversary until they will humble themselves before me and seek to know me and to see my face.
  25. Therefore, worry not, but be diligent and always seeking truth; and I have endowed thee from on high and shall continue to guide you forth, wherever I desire thee to be.
  26. Read my words, study them out, wrestle with them, seek my understanding in them for thyself, and struggle to do them, and I shall make thy burdens light, and thou shalt grow in my grace, line upon line, precept upon precept as thou hast been perfected in me.
  27. You know my will; now, go and do; even so: Amen.
