On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, I met with my fellow Saints in what we call the Farmhouse Family Meeting. At the start of this meeting, those in attendance participated in what we call the “Three-Minute Tune-in.” This is a three-minute meditation where we focus on connecting with one another through the Holy Spirit.
On this evening, while in meditation, focusing the group and the Holy Spirit, I was taken into a vision. In the vision, I was in a garden with all those in attendance. It was a beautiful, lush garden filled with food. It was a paradise that I would call Eden. There was a yellow and white light illuminating the garden, and a path in view.
As we stood there in a circle, an angel of the Lord walked up to us on the path. He identified himself as Uriel (who is Joseph Smith Jr.). As we stood there in oneness, I asked Uriel what we were there to do, what our next steps were. At this, he nodded at us with a joyful look on his face. It felt to me that he was saying that this oneness in the garden was what we were to be focused on, and that we were on that path.
After this, I saw that Uriel was holding my urim and thummim. The light had changed from white/yellow to a beautiful reddish hue, like at sunrise or sunset. He said the urim and thummin was acceptable before the Lord and gave them to me saying, “Take thy chereb.” I took them, and the vision ended.
I shared this vision with those at the Farmhouse Family Meeting. And there are a few items of note. The first is the name “Uriel.” In Hebrew, it means “flame of God” or “God is my light.” Uriel show up in this vision to light our path.
The light changing to red before giving me the chereb, this is also significant.
And if the light is red, then this is the fire of YHVH, and thou art pure; and thy rod, or sword, or cup, or any other item is holy.”

This meant that my urim and thummim had been accepted as a chereb of the Lord, as sacred tool representing my call and ministry. And, this was an answer to a personal question I had asked the Lord. I had asked the Lord if what I did was acceptable or if I should do the ritual again once our family moved out of our house.I felt all the signs were there that my urim and thummim had been accepted, and this was further evidence.
The white and yellow light represented the light of Christ. The garden represented the temple. The temple, particularly the Holy of Holies is a sacred place that represents the garden of Eden. Temples are where communities are built. The fact that it was a permaculture garden, full of life and food, represented God feeding us, sustaining us, giving us life.
This was a vision of life, of sustainment, of community, and of acceptance. We were in the garden temple together, in meditation attempting oneness. We were given a nod from the angel Uriel, letting us know that our desire to be one had put us on the right path together in the light of Christ. And telling me that my chereb was accepted in the presence of all the members wasn’t merely saying the tool was accepted, Uriel was sent to say we were all accepted. This was a vision of oneness that all who chose to partake in may be a part of.
